Senator representing Anambra Central, Senator Uche Ekwunife Iyom has celebrated the Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province of Niger and Bishop of Awka Diocese Anglican Communion, Most Rev’d Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim, PhD on the occasion of his 60th Birthday anniversary, lauding his contributions to the development and growth of the church and the country.
In a birthday message signed by the Anambra Central Senator on Saturday, Ekwunife said the clergy’s service in God’s vineyard has drawn more Christians to God , she noted that Rev. Alexander in addition to his pastoral duties, provided for the welfare and physical well-being of the people.
Ekwunife said ; ” with great pleasure, I rejoice with the Archbishop, Ecclesiastical Province of Niger and Bishop of (Awka Diocese Anglican Communion), Most Rev’d Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim, PhD, on the auspicious occasion of his diamond jubilee anniversary. It is a huge milestone, therefore calls for thanksgiving and celebration.
“Most Rev’d Ibezim is a renowned Chief shepherd known for his consummate accomplishments and enormous contributions in the vineyard of God and humanity. I appreciate his efforts in rendering the needed assistance for the physical well-being and welfare of the people, also the overall spiritual growth of the diocese and province at large.
“In these 60 years of impressive achievements, God’s overflowing faithfulness in Archbishop’s 3 years of Archiepiscopacy, 12 years of Episcopacy, 28 years of Marriage, 38 years in God’s vineyard and other numerous blessings are too many to be mentioned. I join the church and lay faithful in prayers for Most Rev’d Ibezim to attain more lofty heights in his service to the church, country and mankind.
